Actually, the worst part is EVERYTHING starts out Westerbeke red...since it gets painted periodically to prevent corrosion and you can't (and don't necessarily want) to mask every wire, etc. off.

The rest of the trip was uneventful. Nothing significant broke during the remainder of the trip. A few more things to look at...but nothing serious...I don't think.Mike Boydhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14279932231094933575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4773370276862539169.post-515430247170468002016-02-21T09:30:54.100-07:002016-02-21T09:30:54.100-07:00Hi Mike,
Seems "it's always somethin"...Hi Mike,
Seems "it's always somethin" as Gilda Radner said. Good thing you can follow a circuit diagram and know a bit about electronics. I always identify a wire with label from label maker or paper tag covered with plastic tape and taped to wire. And some notation in manual. Sounds like it was a full day down the rabbit hole. Hope you got going on Sunday AM and enjoy the nice weather.
Doug in VTAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4773370276862539169.post-60927513427064632702016-02-20T16:42:27.277-07:002016-02-20T16:42:27.277-07:00I feel for you brother. When you're sitting in the Bahamas in your cockpit sipping your cold drink and looking at turquoise water so brilliant it hurts your eyes you'll realize it was all worth it. Stay the course.

Wishing you fair winds and no broken boat parts tomorrow,

Deb
SV Kintala
www.theretirementproject.blogspot.com
Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01093436662653044390noreply@blogger.com
