Figured with out of state plates it wasn't likely we would see the car again...but there it was.

As for washing solutions...there are a bunch of neat ideas out there...but they don't seem to be in production on most of those yet. The mini washer and spin dryer options come in varying designs that we can manage to stow so we are trying to figure out if any of them are good.Mike Boydhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14279932231094933575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4773370276862539169.post-28367750226316455592016-03-02T04:11:44.460-07:002016-03-02T04:11:44.460-07:00So glad you found the hit and run driver - I just ...So glad you found the hit and run driver - I just don't understand people who do that. I'll be watching with interest to see what washing solution you come up with. The Cynical Sailorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11047491682363507834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4773370276862539169.post-85298847442743815092016-03-01T14:43:16.216-07:002016-03-01T14:43:16.216-07:00We aren't really worried about the tax implica...We aren't really worried about the tax implications of any improvement...won't change our taxes anytime soon anyway.

Hope you like Ting. I've been pretty happy with the service and absolutely giddy about the savings. I have two phones and a tablet that have GPS + a bluetooth WAAS capable GPS I use with my computers to turn OpenCPN into a full functioning chart plotter. Only thing I'm missing is a sextant...which I think would be fun to have on board.

The watermaker will be an eventual improvement, but not too soon. Main goal is to skip the pay washer/dryer inconvenience here. We are keeping an eye on water/power consumption, and these counter top units don't seem to use too much...of course they are limited in what they can wash. Not quite as efficient as a front loader given a larger size load...but space is the ultimate issue here.Mike Boydhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14279932231094933575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4773370276862539169.post-88721497766921219992016-03-01T10:30:23.577-07:002016-03-01T10:30:23.577-07:00Hi Mike,
Great you are taking some time to wind do...Hi Mike,
Great you are taking some time to wind down/enjoy. Hope the dog ear problem gets resolved.
Since the boat is considered your home, is the hardtop considered an "improvement" and change cost basis? Or is it just for RE?
I went with TING awhile back and am using a Neutab G7 Phablet as phone and tablet. Has 2 sim card slots, and a built in GPS chip so it can be used as backup GPS.
Will you be looking at a watermaker for self-sufficient H2O supply if you decide to get a combo washer/dryer?
Doug in VTAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
